Chapter Sponsorship

OPPORTUNITIES TO Engage with the Architects of the
AIA Potomac Valley Chapter

A local chapter of the American Institute of Architects, AIA Potomac Valley is a vibrant organization of more than 600 architects and architectural associates. Our member firms and designers practice architecture of all types and scales, within the Washington, DC region, throughout the U.S., and around the world. We provide quality educational programs and other events, as well as communications resources that foster strong working relationships between architects and their colleagues in the design and construction industries.

Take advantage of these valuable opportunities to be top-of-mind when our members look for vendors, service providers and consultants for their projects. Contact Executive Director Sue Presti by phone at (571) 432-8154 or email [email protected].

Allied Membership is a highly effective way to connect with our members. Benefits include listings in our online allied and Find a Local Architect member directories, discounts on paper AIA Contract Documents, member prices for events, ability to submit company events to our online calendar free of charge, and submit posts to our blog, which is a great way to share your expertise with architects and other potential clients. Click here for a complete list of benefits. Allied Membership is billed annually on a revolving basis.

First member - $300; each additional member from the same company - $250

Sponsorship of an individual event provides visibility during advance promotions as well as onsite at the event, and is a good way to engage specific design audiences relevant to your product offerings. Recurring opportunities include our quarterly Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN) programs, offered as part of the AIA Capital Area CRAN tri-chapter initiative for residential designers (CRAN Annual Partners only), and our annual Design Awards celebration recognizing the best work of our members and our region. Additional event and program sponsorships are offered as they are developed by Chapter committees. We attempt to match sponsors with appropriate opportunities, according to the event content.

From $300 to $1,500; may include Allied Membership or credit for Allied Membership already paid.
