JURY
The jury appreciated how the architect transformed this mundane building that was about material goods into an interesting building about spiritual needs. The form has an abstract yet clear relationship to the imagery put forth in their presentation. Appreciated the materiality and restrained use of brick, bronze, glass, and interior materiality touches such as the stair rail and textures that keep reappearing in the building.
