Signature Elevators & Accessible Design LLC to Supply and Install Waupaca Home Elevators at Parc Redland Design for Life Community

Rockville—8-21-2020 Today Signature Elevators & Accessible Design began installing their Waupaca Home Elevators into Universal Communities’ ground-breaking Parc Redland Project—a proto-type “Design for Life” community in Rockville, Maryland—located less than 2 miles from the Shady Grove Metro station.

“Our Waupaca Elevators coupled with Universal’s zero threshold entries and curbless showers will make these homes truly the perfect homes for anyone with temporary or permanent accessible needs, including those who utilize a wheelchair,” said Gary Case, president of Signature Elevators & Accessible Design of Rockville, Maryland.

Positive Customer Impact

Every one of Universal Communities’ homes in the Parc Redland Community is packed with mobility, safety and accessibility features including oversized elevators, 8-foot-tall garage doors for accessible vehicles, smart controls, zero threshold doors as well as curbless showers. Every purchaser will be eligible to apply for the Montgomery County Design for Life property tax credit of $10,000.00.

“A wheelchair accessible dream home and a $2,000 savings per year off your property taxes for 5 years,” said Bruce Chapman, elevator sales consultant at Signature Elevators & Accessible Design. “It just does not get any better than this.”

“We are so pleased to work with Gary and Signature Elevators on our Parc Redland project,” said Jeff Jacobson of Universal Communities. “We had very specific requirements going above and beyond the standard elevators typically found in million-dollar townhomes in Montgomery County. Signature was able to help us distinguish our product and bring to market a new concept in accessibility under the terrific Montgomery County Design for Life program.”
