Montgomery County Updates ICC Codes


The Montgomery County Council has approved Executive Regulation 31-19 to adopt the 2018 editions of the International Codes. These codes are set to go into effect on May 20th.

Executive Regulation 31-19 includes: Adoption of the 2018 editions of the International Building Code (IBC), the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), the International Mechanical Code (IMC), the International Residential Code (IRC), the Swimming Pool and Spa Code, and the International Existing Building Code with amendments.
