Gaithersburg Adopts 2018 Building Codes

The City of Gaithersburg has adopted the 2018 International Codes as of the end of May 2019. All projects applying for a building permit and less than 50% designed are required to use the new codes. After Oct. 31, all projects must follow the 2018 codes.

LEAFHouse and PVAF Host AIAS Community Service Event

On July 17, PVAF hosted a team of 25 students at LEAFHouse as part of the AIAS initiative Freedom By Design (FBD). FBD hopes to contribute feedback and ideas to PVAF regarding the question, “What is ‘sustainability’ and how can we actually achieve it?”
