Bio:

Graham Thomas is a registered architect with over 38 years of experience. He believes that a good design should never mean sacrificing functionality. A blend of the two reflects an extensive understanding of the project and its purpose. Having lived in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, he has developed a keen insight on the design challenges in different countries where climate, political environment, and cultural approaches to architecture all add layers to the development of a project. As a longtime resident of Fort Washington in Prince George’s County where Leuterio Thomas is based, he has seen the County evolve with the impact of National Harbor, Tanger and MGM. The County’s investment in new schools will change the dynamic of the County. He believes in the business of architecture and the need to be connected to the community sharing in a responsibility to invest in future generations. Graham serves on the AIA Potomac Valley Board to help formalize these relationships, drawing on his prior service as AIAPV President and his current role as an ex officio director through his presidency of the Potomac Valley Architecture Foundation (PVAF).
