AIA POTOMAC VALLEY ACCREDITATION SERVICE

AIA Potomac Valley (AIAPV) provides AIA CES accreditation for live instructor courses as a service to our members and the community, for organizations whose courses are relevant to the architecture profession. AIAPV charges a nominal fee for the time and effort involved in processing the accreditation, reporting of credits to CES and preparation of certificates of completion. We also require strict adherence to the deadlines below as we have a very small staff. Additionally, timely accreditation allows advance promotion of the credits offered for your course, which will help attract attendance by architects.

Please note that accreditation by AIA Potomac Valley, or any other local AIA chapter, can only be used for programs presented to or in conjunction with the local chapter. This service is not available to industry vendors as a replacement for becoming an approved AIA CES Provider.

Complete the CES Course Submission Application form to submit your course information for consideration. Courses submitted/pending review cannot be offered for AIA CES credit until the course is reviewed and approved by AIA CES. This can take up to 10 business days or longer so it's crucial that you submit your information early if you want to have a course approved in time. After review and acceptance, an invoice for the appropriate amount will be sent to the Primary Contact. Please contact us at info@aiapv.org with any questions. Thanks for your interest in offering educational opportunities for local architects!
