AIAPV has partnered with Grimm + Parker Architects to offer a limited number of seats for live webinars of the firm's Lunch & Learn CEU events on the first Tuesday of each month. AIA credits will be reported by the presenting vendors. Registration through AIAPV is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. Registrants will receive the WebEx log in credentials the day before the webinar. 

AIAPV appreciates Grimm + Parker's support in enabling the chapter to provide this valuable benefit for the convenience of members unable to get to our educational events in person.

Protect Your Assets: Water & Moisture Design Considerations in Concrete

Course Description

This presentation will focus on water and moisture design considerations in concrete in protecting assets, reducing moisture/water-related finished floor failures and reducing design risk. The presentation focuses on how integral waterproofing concrete technologies can help accomplish these objectives. The presentation will include an outline of the existing processes and methodologies of waterproofing concrete and also walk through comparative test results. The goal of the discussion is to provide an understanding of problems in design with concrete and a comparison of solutions to protect concrete and structural elements.

1 LU/HSW, USGBC credit (via online exam at AEC Daily)
