Join AIA Potomac Valley and Capital Area CRAN for a panel discussion on the psychology of relationships among residential client, contractor, and architect. The residential client is typically more emotionally invested in the project than the commercial client, and has little to no experience working with designers and contractors. Properly balancing the intimate connection that exists between custom residential clients and their designers, while preserving the professionalism needed to negotiate the required business transactions can be a vexing challenge. A panel of seasoned experts takes on the topic in a lively discussion, which will include a Q & A period.
