Architectural and Performance benefits of Cellular PVC Cladding

Course Description

This course describes cellular PVC and explains its advantages as a cladding material. It describes water-based PVDF coatings, how they work, and the importance of the C-F bond. It also discusses the characteristics of a water-based PVDF coating (moisture absorption; resistance to dirt pick-up, mold, mildew, and fungi; and weathering) and how they contribute to the durability of the coating, and explains the value proposition of cellular PVC cladding with a water-based PVDF coating versus other cladding material in terms of the longevity of the cladding material and the coating.
