Continuing Education

CESlogoThe Continuing Education System (CES) was developed by the AIA to:

  • Support life-long professional learning for AIA Members
  • Record member participation in education for AIA membership
  • Provide members opportunities to meet their MCE requirements

AIA Potomac Valley presents dozens of programs each year that are approved for credits through AIA/CES. The calendar listings for CES-approved events will indicate the number and type of credits available. AIA Potomac Valley reports credits for AIA members electronically, streamlining and shortening the process of getting the credits onto your transcripts and eliminating the need for a certificate. Non-AIA members may request a certificate to self-report their credits.
