The 500+ members of AIA Potomac Valley influence more than $900 million per year in construction goods and services contracts, and they directly control another $25 million per year in construction-related spending. Explore the ways AIA Potomac Valley engages with industry partners to create the greatest mutual benefit.
The $200 Allied Membership is our basic relationship level. Additional members of the same company can become Allied Members for $150. The opportunity to present programs to chapter members and sponsor chapter events is a benefit reserved for our Allied Members. In addition, Allied Members appear in our online Allied Member Directory, have access to our entire member directory, and receive member discounts on chapter events. Allied Members can also choose to upgrade to a sponsorship within the first three months of their year by paying the difference in price. All annual and event sponsorships include at least one Allied Membership. It’s easy to become an Allied Member – click here to sign up online.
The benefits of Annual Sponsorship include ongoing recognition throughout the year on our website, in our emails to members and at events. Annual Sponsors have the opportunity to present their programs, receive complimentary invites to major chapter events such as our Awards Celebration and our Annual Membership Meeting. At certain levels, we will post the AIA CES-approved programs of our Annual Sponsors presented within our region on our website calendar. Annual Sponsorship levels are Platinum ($7,500), Gold ($5,000), Silver ($2,500), and Bronze ($1,250). All Annual Sponsorships include at least one Allied Membership. You can also sign up for an Annual Sponsorship online on the benefits page linked above.
The Chapter seeks sponsors for specific events including the Awards Celebration, the Annual Membership Meeting, the Third Thursday Munch & Learn series, and chapter-organized programs on local issues. Event Sponsorship begins at $500 and varies according to the event. Event Sponsorships include at least one Allied Membership and often have other event-specific benefits. Check the website regularly or contact Executive Director Renee Catacalos for opportunities.
AIA Potomac Valley is part of the Capital Area Custom Residential Architects Network (CRAN), a joint initiative with the AIA|DC and AIA Northern Virginia chapters. AIA Potomac Valley offers two CRAN Lunch and Learn programs per year, drawing residential designers from the entire DC-metro area. CRAN Lunch and Learn sponsorship is $500 and includes an Allied Membership in the Potomac Valley chapter. Sponsorship of a Potomac Valley chapter-organized CRAN evening program is $1800 and includes Bronze level Annual Sponsorship benefits in our chapter. Contact Executive Director Renee Catacalos for information.
We look forward to working with you!
